A Black man was talking to a White man and said:
I am Black.
When I was born I was Black.
When I grew up I was Black.
When I am sick I am Black.
When I go in the sun I am Black.
When I am cold I am Black.
When I die I am Black.
But you:
When you are born you are pink.
When you grow up you are white.
When you are sick you are green.
When you go in the sun you are red.
When you are cold you are blue.
When you die you are purple.
And YOU have the nerve to call me COLOURED.

“People may argue that we are all different, and that causes fear and distrust amongst many. However, our differences are what make each of us “unique”, something to be valued and cherished not
feared.
We must educate, and open up our minds, and our hearts to learning about others who are different from ourselves.
We must not fall prey to “fake news”. We must become “critical thinkers”, and question everything. We must not simply accept everything we see, read or hear as the #truth.
For there are usually three sides to every story: your side, their side and then the truth.
In the end we all belong to only ONE RACE…THE HUMAN RACE!” – Shannon Little ©
